Description
The Excalibur estate involves a large-scale estate regeneration across five phases. The original estate comprised prefabricated, post-war bungalows built which were no longer fit for purpose.
Keylon were contracted by repeat client L&Q to deliver a full internal Drylining & Screeding package to the third and final phase of the development which provided a further 102 new homes on a mixed tenure basis. Bringing our experience of installing drylining to timber frame superstructures, Keylon worked closely with the design teams to identify and mitigate issues that typically derive from this from of construction as well as highlighting sequencing and coordination improvements that could be achieved.
